Antigua and Barbuda is located to the northeast in the Caribbean, comprising three of the Leeward Islands: Antigua, Barbuda and Redonda.

Antigua is a mountainous island with a coastline with many harbours (made up from volcanic craters) with more than 365 fine sandy beaches surrounded by palm trees. Its highest point is Boggy Peak (402 mts, 1318 ft). The capital city is St. John’s located in this island.

Barbuda is a plain coral island, with a big lagoon in the west, it lies 40 km (25 miles) north of Antigua. It is a natural refuge for wild deer and harbours one of the region’s greatest reservation of exotic birds. Its beach of 8 km (25 miles) is well known as one of the most beautiful beach in the world, with clear water covered with pink sand and surrounded by palm trees. There are other beautiful beaches and remains of the first plantations of the Antillean islands.
Redonda, is the smallest island, an uninhabited rocky islet, located at 40 km (25 miles) to the southeast of Antigua.
